OUR APPROACH
From performance
gaps to progress.
A clear engagement process helps connect development activities to the needs they are intended to address.
Fiat’s current website describes five steps, from determining requirements through reporting and management recommendations. This page presents that process in a more readable format.
UNDERSTAND
Identify the need.
Discuss training and development requirements in response to performance gaps. Clarify the context, people involved, and what needs to improve.
CO-DESIGN
Shape the intervention.
Co-design a customized training program proposal or intervention intended to address the identified gaps.
DELIVER
Put learning into action.
Conduct the agreed training program or intervention using the planned format and activities.
DOCUMENT
Capture observations.
Prepare a program or project report that records the engagement and relevant observations.
RECOMMEND
Support next decisions.
Present the program or project report to the management team, with corresponding observations and recommendations.
A FLEXIBLE FORMAT
One process.
Different settings.
Programs may be delivered face-to-face or online, at the client’s premises or a chosen venue. Fiat also describes executive coaching, experiential learning, and possible follow-through arrangements.
The actual format, timeline, responsibilities, and measures of success should be documented in the approved proposal for each engagement.
